NICE START TO A BIG DOG BIG DOG K-9 SOFTAIL CHOPPER PROJECT. FRAME & SWINGARM CAME FROM BIG DOG ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. I KNOW IT WAS AN ASSEMBLED BIKE, BUT I DON'T SEE ANY ROAD GRIME OR EVIDENCE OF IT EVER BEING DRIVEN. THEY HAD A FLEET OF BIKES FOR FITMENT TESTS, DYNO RUNS, ACCESSORY DISPLAYS, ETC. I'M GUESSING THIS FRAME WAS ONE OF THEM.
FRONT END IS A NICE USED UNIT FROM ANOTHER R&D BIKE, (IT HAS BEEN RUN, BUT VERY NICE USED CONDITION, TREES NEED POLISHED). ALL SHEETMETAL IS MISMATCHED USED AND NEW COMBINATION. ALL IN GOOD SHAPE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE DENT IN THE GAS TANK, (LOOKS LIKE IT GOT BUMPED IN THE PAINT SHOP & FORGOTTEN). WHEELS ARE BRAND NEW POLISHED 2010 VERSIONS. SEAT AND HANDLEBARS ARE NICE USED.
THIS FRAME ACCEPTS EVOLUTION STYLE ENGINE AND BAKER DSSC TRANSMISSION. 300 REAR TIRE SOFTAIL.
COMES WITH MSO FOR THE FRAME.
I HAVE PLENTY MORE PARTS TO ADD TO THIS PROJECT, BUT LATELY EVERYONE WANTS THEM CHEAP & BASIC TO BUILD ON A BUDGET OVER TIME. SO HERE YOU GO!!

Students prepare for Coventry University's annual degree show
Fri, 03 May 2013Students of Coventry University's Automotive and Transport Design course are getting ready for their annual degree show, dubbed ‘Discover ID'. Already the largest show in Europe, this year's exhibition will be the biggest ever, with 107 BA and MDes students showcasing their design talents. Aside from automotive projects, the exhibition will feature projects including two full-size motorcycles, a Rolls-Royce yacht, a Pacific cruise airship and arctic tourism vehicles.
