  • Ignition Key is "ON", with motorcycle "NOT" running!
  • Charging System has "FAILED"!
  • Voltage Regulator has "FAILED"!
  • Charging System "Breaker" has "TRIPPED", or "Fuse" has "BLOWN"!
  • Battery voltage drops "BELOW" 13.5 VDC, "Under Charging"!
  • Battery voltage rises "ABOVE" 14.5 VDC, "Over Charging"!

     Fault Light "INTERMITTENTLY" Illuminates when:

  • For a "SHORT" duration when motorcycle is first started, during battery charge recovery!
  • NOTE: Longer durations of illumination after start-up are an indication of a "WEAKER" battery!
  • Loose or inadequate battery terminations!

GM cuts Facebook ad spending, but Ford steps on the gas

On the eve of Facebook's wildly anticipated initial public stock offering, General Motors said May 15 that it will stop buying advertisements on Facebook--about $10 million a year--but "remains committed" to the social network as part of "an aggressive content strategy with all our products and brands." In other words, GM will not pay Facebook for ads but will continue to maintain content, for which Facebook doesn't collect revenue. News of the decision was reported in The Wall Street Journal. But GM's position is far from universal.

The Volvo V40 (pictured) gets Volvo’s new Drive-e engines Last year Volvo revealed its new, efficient and flexible Drive-e engines and plans to offer them in the S60, V60 and XC60 with a 179bhp D4 and a 302bhp T6. Now, the new Volvo V40 is getting Drive-e powertrains. Both the V40 and the V40 Cross Country are getting Drive-e engine options, with both the D4 diersel and T5 petrol coming on-stream from May 2014.
