Mon, 27 Feb 2012

The 2012 Volvo V40 now leaks completely We have a full set of photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 – ahead of a debut at Geneva 2012 – thanks to yet another leak. We’ve got used to new cars leaking out a bit at a time on the Interwebs, but photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 have been leaking like a sieve for weeks, despite the official debut not being until Geneva in a week or so. First we had what looked to be a scan from a brochure of the new V40, followed closely by a couple of official exterior photos of the V40, just to be sure.

Mercedes SLK facelift (2007): first official pictures

Fri, 21 Dec 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 21 December 2007 00:01 Mercedes has given its SLK a spruce-up just in time for Christmas. Blink and you most certainly will miss it – but the company claims there are 650 modified parts on its renowned roadster, which gets freshened looks inside and out, and fettled engines to take it into 2008. Anoraks will spot the facelifted two-seater by its reshaped bumper and front air dam, and the large three-pointed star is given more prominence on the SLK’s snout.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee facelift revealed

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Chrysler has rolled out a facelift for the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the usual cosmetic tweaks, better interior and new 8-speed auto ‘box. Jeep has worked hard to make the latest Grand Cherokee a much more appealing road car than before, with car-like on-road manners despite still having Land Rover levels of off-road ability. The only real criticisms we can level at the current Grand Cherokee (which, coincidently  we have in for review this week) is some cheap trim on the inside, a blobby infotainment system and an old-school, five-speed auto ‘box that really has no place in a modern, premium SUV.
