Biltwell Inc. Low Drag Handlebars
This item fits:
Pre-82 Models/Not Dimpled
Construction: 1-inch O.D. x 0.120” wall seamless 4130 chromoly tubing. All bends are created with internal mandrels on a CNC bender to reduce flat spots in the radiuses, and all welded joints are precision mitered and TIG welded. The threaded bungs on the bottom of Low Drag Bars accept 1/2” x 13 t.p.i. hardware. For exact handlebar measurements, please click the Specifications icon in the photo album. Smooth for aftermarket hand controls or custom applications.
Fitment: These bars are designed to fit stock Harley-Davidson triple trees with removable handlebar risers, or their aftermarket equivalent. If the riser-mounting holes in your fork’s top tree are not 3.5 inches (89mm) wide center to center, Biltwell Low Drag bars will not fit. If the holes for riser hardware (either rubber isolator or solid mount type) in your top tree are not 1/2” (13mm), Low Drag bars will not fit. Because our Low Drag bar’s height is similar to stock handlebars, cable and wiring probably won’t require modification. If you’re not sure, please consult a professional.
These bars look great on: Sportsters, rigid Triumph customs or any custom with hydraulic forks and a stock neck angle. Because they have a flat bend, low rise and zero upsweep, we don’t recommend Low Drag bars on motorcycles with steep neck angles, stretched backbones or extended forks.

Alfa Romeo/IED Gloria [w/gallery]
Thu, 21 Feb 2013The European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin will unveil its new Gloria concept, developed in collaboration with Alfa Romeo Style Center, at next month's Geneva motor show. These renders of the sports sedan concept, which is 4,200mm long, 1,920mm wide, 1,320mm high sitting on a wheelbase of 2,900mm, show a traditional Alfa grille that feeds into the hood's prominent V-shaped character lines. Two leather hood straps in front of the windshield are a nod to the brand's older models.
Chevy Volt to take on Vauxhall Ampera in Europe
Sat, 05 Mar 2011Chevy Volt to take on Vauxhall Ampera in Europe They’ve been hyped for a very long time – the Chevy Volt and Vauxhall Ampera – and 2011 is the year that both hit the roads. You don’t have to be an out and out petrolhead to know that Chevrolet have built the Volt for the North American market and that the Vauxhall Ampera (OK, Opel Ampera too) is for the European market. Or so we thought.
2014 (or is it 2015?) Ford Mondeo to launch in UK & Europe late 2014
Fri, 31 Jan 2014The new Ford Mondeo will now arrive in the UK in late 2014 The story of the new Ford Mondeo for the UK Europe (which should have been the 2013 Mondeo but will end up as the 2014 or 2015 Mondeo) has been a bit tortuous. Despite the new Mondeo being on sale in the US as the Ford Fusion since summer 2012, and in China since summer 2013 (and the reveal of the production version of the Mondeo over two years ago and a set of new Mondeo photos too), Ford’s decision to shut up shop at Genk in Belgium – the Mondeo’s traditional manufacturing plant – meant there was no way to give Europe the new Mondeo. So we’ve had to wait for Ford to sort out production lines in Valencia to build the new Mondeo but now, according to Mark Ovenden – Ford’s UK boss – the new Mondeo will arrive in the third quarter of 2014 in the UK and Europe.
