PM opens Williams F1’s new Advanced Engineering Centre

The new facility will help transfer Williams’ four decades of title-winning F1 expertise into the world of road cars – and the PM has challenged the engineers working there to continue helping Britain compete on the world stage by developing new business opportunities. Toyota GRMN Sports Hybrid concept
Wed, 22 Jun 2011Toyota is set to unveil its GRMN Sports Hybrid Concept II at the forth-coming Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race taking place this weekend. GRMN is an abbreviation of 'GAZOO Racing tuned by MN'. Gazoo being the Japanese motorsport specialist that has a loose affinity to Toyota following a collaboration on the iQ city car, whilst MN makes reference to ‘Meister of Nürburgring' or Hiromu Naruse; the Toyota test driver tragically killed behind the wheel of a Lexus LFA last year.
McLaren's latest P12 teaser video
Fri, 14 Sep 2012McLaren has followed up its announcement that its Paris-bound P12 hypercar, teased with an image last week, by releasing a video that suggests the shape and aerodynamics we can expect from the car. The video shows a series of lights passing over an invisible object – the P12 – and using the lightshow it is possible to imagine the general shape of the car, without any detail of course. If the P12's unveiling is anything like the light show in the video, it should be a fantastic experience in Paris.
