Black Billet Aluminum Racing Engine/turbo Oil Catch Reservoir Tank/can Indicator on 2040-parts.com
WENZHOU, AS, China
Item Description & Specification An oil catch tank is used in turbo applications, or high-performance racing applications where excessive blow-by (leakage past the piston rings) of air and fuel vapor occurs. This creates a positive pressure in the crankcase. During engine operation, blow-by gases, as well as oil mist from the rotating components of the engine, pass through the PCV valve and are routed back into the intake for the engine to burn off. However, some of the oil mist and other by-products settle along the engine intake and over time form a gunk. The oil catch tank collects such oil mist and condenses the fuel vapors while allowing cleaner gases to be passed back into the intake. Fri, 22 May 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 22 May 2009 13:53 At last, we can present the strangest new BMW for some time (and there have been a few): the new 5-series Gran Turismo, or GT for short. Motoring journos sometimes overuse the word ‘radical’, but the new BMW 5-series GT is one of the few new arrivals that is genuinely segment busting. In fact, when uploading this story we had to tag the article page on our website.
Peugeot 207CC
Thu, 07 Dec 2006Following the 207 Epure concept shown at the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot has revealed the production version, the 207CC - though without the concept's fuel-cell powertrain. Succeeding the popular 206CC launched in 2001, the 207CC obviously doesn't differ much from the show car, which was the first model touched by Co-Director Peugeot Design Jerome Gallix. Replacing the fuel cell is a range of IC engines; two gas and one diesel.
