Built by Italian chassis developer Dallara and powered by a Nismo engine, the new 2014 Trophy racer looks likely to have impressive performance figures and, judging by Renault’s teaser picture, just as impressive styling. Adding to the racing pedigree is a 1,100kg weight, seven-speed sequential gearbox by Sadev and specially created Michelin tyres.

We had the 2010 Audi TT facelift story earlier this morning and now comes new that the other end of the Audi scale – the Audi Q7 – is up for a nip and tuck for 2010 as well. The changes also usher in the higher-power 600bhp Speed model, which Bentley predicts will account for two-thirds of GTC sales. It's also the car Bentley denied they'd build when we scooped the GTC Speed last year!The new Continental GTC range will be on display at next week's Detroit 2009 motor show.
