Black Glitter Freightliner shift knob with adapter for your non-threaded shifter! 2-1/8" Diameter Knob. This kit allows the use of most any of our shift knobs on most non-threaded shifters. Aluminum adapter has a 5/8" inside diameter, 1-1/4" deep, with adapters to fit 3/8", 1/2" and 9/16" diameters. Attaches with 3 set screws. Confirm your shifter fitment. Fits many factory manual non-threaded shifters and many other non-threaded manual or automatic shifters. Perfect for stock floor shifters that do not have threads and for column shifters, too. Also, perfect for other uses like machinery levers and control knobs. Available with black or polished adapter in separate listings. Just this past Wednesday, while strolling through Porsche's Panamera/Cayenne assembly plant in Leipzig, we noticed a preponderance of white Pannies being constructed. According to paint supplier PPG, that should be no surprise. Since last year, it's been the top color here in the US, and Porsche's number one market is, of course, North America.

Nissan recalls Altima sedan for suspension fix

Nissan is recalling about 20,000 Altima sedans from the 2011 and 2012 model years to fix a transverse link bolt that might not have been torqued to the proper specification. Altimas built between April 25 and June 10 at the Canton, Miss., plant are affected by the recall. The bolt could come loose while the vehicle is being driven.

The talented Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, who penned the Pininfarina Enzo and 'Rossa' during his days at Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche, is going back to the famous Italian coachbuilder, after completing his experience as Chair of the Transportation Design Department at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is expected back as Creative Director of the Pininfarina Spa group as of May 10th. There he will be reporting, as before his departure, to Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Executive Vice President Design .
