A concept of the new Infiniti Q30, a crossover hatchback that will go on sale in the US in 2015, has been unveiled ahead of a Frankfurt motor show debut. Based on new front-drive platform developed by Mercedes-Benz for its A-class family, the Q30 features a slightly raised ride height, sweeping roofline and confident styling, all aimed at winning sales from younger buyers who are predicted to make-up 80 per cent of global luxury car-buyers by 2020. Land Rover pledges continued support for Race2Recovery

LAND ROVER has confirmed it will continue to sponsor the Race2Rocovery team of injured British servicemen who are tackling the 2014 Dakar Rally. The Race2Recovery team is the only disabled rally outfit in the world and will compete using Land Rover-based Wildcat race machines. Land Rover is providing the team with parts, logistics, vehicle and financial support throughout their 2014 campaign.

September saw new car registrations hit 403,136 – the highest figure for five and a half years – and the first time since 2008 new car registrations have broken the 400k barrier.
