About the only thing we can come up with that’s specific to the 320d ED is the longer final drive. We’ve no doubt it plays its part inĀ achievingĀ the economy and emissions on offer, but it does mean changing gear on motorways when baulked.

Sun, 13 Sep 2009Barrichello wins the Italian Grand Prix in Monza The Brawns trailed Hamilton, Raikkonen and Sutil in the first stage of the race with their one-stop strategy, but the dividends of that strategy paid off with the Brawn duo taking the lead after the second pit stops by McLaren, Ferrari and Force India. Hamilton, in the McLaren, had a good race, and was challenging Button for second place in the closing stages. But, having got to within a second of Button on the last lap, he crashed out – probably by trying a bit too hard.
End of an era for Dream Cruise landmark

The Vinsetta Garage, an art deco repair shop that dates to 1919 and sits just feet from Woodward Avenue, was shuttered last week as the owner prepares for a new direction in life. Jack Marwil, who owned the shop since 1989, plans to attend law school after the death of his wife this fall.
