Thu, 22 May 2014Fiat lose $14,000 on every electric 500e The electric Fiat 500e arrived as a concept at the Detroit Auto Show in 2010 and finally arrived as a production reality at the Los Angeles Show in 2012 before going on sale in the US. The 500e is an appealing little car for zapping around town, especially if you only do a relatively low mileage every day and have somewhere to plug it in. But it is rather expensive.

Land Rover does like to divvy up a special edition at the end of the year to give car sales a bit of New Year impetus (and, if Land Rover’s recent sales figures are anything to go by, it certainly works), and this year we get the Land Rover Freelander Black & white Edition. Again.

Sirna has been coming to Bonneville for the last 12 years with his SL, which is probably more suited to a museum stand. Sirna likes to say, “Enjoy your toys,” but we hope he has a nice coat of Rustoleum on there.
