This eBay listing is for ten (10) 1"x 18" motorcycle soft towing tie down straps.  The webbing straps are triple stitched with premium thread for maximum strength. Perfect for your motorcycle, ATV, or bicycle.

The soft tie downs act as extensions to regular ratchet style tie downs and prevent hooks or buckles from scratching the paint and chrome on your motorcycle. Used properly, these soft ties will work great with almost anything you want to tie down and protect. The possibilities are almost endless, including scooters, watercraft, snowmobiles, lawn tractors & more.  The soft loops on the ends of the straps are designed to wrap around handlebars and feed through hard to reach areas with ease. One end loops around the chosen anchor point on your motorcycle or vehicle. Then you hook your regular ratchet tie down strap to the remaining loop end and tighten it down. As you pull it increases tension & the soft loop becomes even more secure around the anchor. Without knots it also releases easily when you are unloading.

  • PROTECTS YOUR PAINT & CHROME - Soft loops prevent ratchet tie downs & hooks from scratching.
  • EASY TO USE & FITS GREAT on handlebars, forks, swing-arms, etc. & tight spots where hooks can't go.
  • MORE SECURE - unlike nylon, these securing straps don't stretch, so your valuable cargo won't budge.

Kia's Forte Super Bowl ad features violent android lady

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

There's no Jimmy Cliff or Flaming Lips in Kia's Super Bowl ad for the new Forte, but we can't help thinking they're the second company this week to miss out on co-opting seminal New Jersey punk outfit the Misfits' “We Are 138.” While attaching the song to the unveiling of Ferrari's new F138 was a no-brainer from a numerically synergistic standpoint, the track's poppy brutality and ominous query, “Is it time to be an android, not a man?” dovetails perfectly with the rise-of-the-sexy-machines theme of the Kia clip. Clearly, the android in this spot -- portrayed by former Miss USA Alyssa Campanella -- has the upper hand over the poor schnook oiling up the new Forte with his greasy mitts. We can't help thinking the whole ad would've been better if the Misfits' original pint-size vocal dynamo Glenn Danzig had been involved somehow.
