Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro (2011) first pictures

It’s Audi’s first hybrid road car, and combines a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine, an electric motor and lithium-ion batteries in a Q5 SUV body. Unfortunately this system isn’t Audi’s much-anticipated electric Quattro system, with a combustion engine driving the front wheels and an electric-powered rear axle – the Q5 Hybrid has permanent four-wheel drive.

Last year the company produced Frozen black and Frozen silver versions of the hopped-up 3-series. Volkswagen teases with sketch of new sedan for Tennessee factory
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Volkswagen AG on Thursday released a sketch of the mid-sized sedan that will be built at VW's factory now under construction in Chattanooga, Tenn. The mid-sized sedan, which has yet to be named, will be slightly larger than the Passat. VW plans to build 150,000 units annually when the factory opens in early 2011.
