We modify Harley style -2" length (stock XS650 length) springers and include correct bearings for your metric XS650 frame neck. Kit includes: Black springer, bearings and races, 3/4" axle, spacers, and detailed installation instructions. Springer is designed to work with 16" or 21" Harley Wide Glide wheels from 1984 - 1999, 11.5" Harley Rotor (84-99), and Springer type brake caliper. A 19" front wheel from a 1984-1999 Narrow Glide can also be used if you modify the spacers. Will not fit stock XS650 wheel and brake components. *Oversized Item. Not eligible for free freight.

GM’s Henderson offers a ray of hope for Sky, Solstice

There appears to be a slight glimmer of hope for fans of the Saturn Sky and the Pontiac Solstice. CEO Fritz Henderson said that General Motors would be willing to sell its Wilmington, Del., plant, which builds the Sky and the Solstice--two eye-catching performance cars--if a buyer specifically wanted those niche products, similar to what Chrysler offered with its Dodge Viper business.

Detroit Electric delays SP:01 EV

Detroit Electric will delay the SP:01 EV roadster for at least a month, according to a company executive who talked to the Detroit News. The company still hasn’t finalized a manufacturing location in Wayne County. Production was scheduled to start in August, now it’s slated for September.

The new BMW X5 costs from £42,590 for the sDrive25d We had the reveal of the new BMW X5 this week (which is either a new X5 or a facelift for the current X5, depending on how you look at it, and also the 2013 or 2014 X5) and now we have full UK prices for the new range. The starting point will be the X5 sDrive25d – BMW’s first rear wheel drive X5 and the first with a 4-cylinder engine – which will cost from £42,590 and comes with BMW’s 2.0 litre diesel which will give economy of 50.4mpg and emissions of 155g/km. BMW expect the same figures to apply to the next up the range – the X5 xDrive25d – which gets the same four-pot diesel as the sDrive version but has 4WD.
