Need for Speed Ford Mustang sells for $300,000
Tue, 29 Apr 2014The 900hp Ford Mustang GT as seen in the latest Need for Speed movie has sold at an auction in the US for $300,000 – that’s roughly £180,000. Unfortunately, the winning bidder might be disappointed to find out that in real life it doesn’t make anywhere near the 900hp claimed in the film, instead running a stock 420hp. McLaren P1: New Photos
Wed, 26 Sep 2012Just hours ahead of the official reveal of the McLaren P1 supercar we have a new set of photo showing more of the P1. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow for any technical details of what McLaren has put under the skin of the P1, but we do now have far more P1 photos to make a judgement on how it looks. The first three photos showed us the backend, side view and front three quarters of the P1, but now we get to see the P1 in almost all its glory in these new photos.
LA Motor Show: Subaru WRX gets downsized engine

The latest edition of the performance saloon may not be coming to the UK at all, but Subaru has finally given the 268bhp machine the go-ahead for Japan and North America. A new 2.0-litre ‘boxer’ engine carries on the brand’s tradition, bringing with it the same low centre of gravity as the old 2.5-litre unit but with greater environmental credentials.
