2011 Vauxhall Corsa facelift
Wed, 24 Nov 2010The Vauxhall Corsa 2011 Facelift
Vauxhall – and Opel too – obviously don’t want to do too much to the Corsa at once.
This time last year we had engine upgrades for the 2010 Corsa – and some economy tweaks and fiddles – but nothing in the way of cosmetic changes. This year we get no oily tweaks but we do get the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa Facelift. And a facelift for the Opel Corsa too. Quelle surprise.
In fact, the Corsa should probably have ahd this facelift last year – it’s out of step with the rest of the Vauxhall range. But it does now gets the smiley face (Vauxhalls’ own words) with some new ‘Eagle-Eye’ headlights, new front bumper, new housings for the fogs and a new grille.
In addition to the nose job the 2011 Corsa also gets some new alloys across the range, and some new paint jobs – Lime Green, Chilli Orange and Guacamole are all new and Sunny Melon returns to the Corsa, together with Pepperdust Metallic which has been nicked from the new Meriva.
The Corsa’s interior also gets a bit of a workover with new colours – Steel Blue and Tabasco Orange – and a range of different coloured trims for stuff like the door trims and centre console. The 2011 Corsa also gets Vauxhall’s new optional Touch & Connect multi-media system which offers a 5″ touch screeen for the SatNav together with CD/tuner, aux-in, USB and Bluetooth.
Nothing too startling, but these changes do make the Corsa look a chunk fresher.
