With the 2012 Hyundai i30 due to arrive in the UK in March, Hyundai reveals price and model specification. Starts at £14,495.
The 2012 Hyundai i30 was revealed at the Franfurt Motor Show last September, and with the new i30 release date in the UK on 12th March, Hyundai has revealed full price and specification details for the new i30 range.
The new i30 comes in four trim levels – Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav – and a choice of petrol and diesel engines, including Hyundai’s new 1.6 litre diesel which offers 97g/km CO2 emissions in 110 Blue Drive guise. Other outputs from the 1.6 litre CRDi include a 90 PS version with 109g/km, a 110 PS auto with 145g/km and a 128 PS Blue Drive with 100g/km. There’s also a 1.4 litre 100 PS petrol with 139g/km.
There’s a decent level of equipment across the range including such higher-end stuff as Hill Start Assist, 15″ Alloys, Cruise and voice-activated Bluetooth. Opt for the Style trim and you’ll get 16″ alloys, Dual zone Climate, Auto lights and Wipers, Parking Sensors and cornering lights. The top end Style Nav throws in SatNav and rear parking camera.
Hyundai boss Tony Whitehorn said:
The new generation i30 represents another leap forward in terms of Hyundai’s design, refinement and build quality. Coupled with Hyundai’s generous standard specification along and industry leading back-up service and support in the form of the Five Year Triple Care assurance, the new generation i30 truly represents the complete package for customers looking for a high-quality vehicle at an affordable price.
And he’s not wrong. Just ask VW’s Martin Winterkorn.
The new 2012 Hyundai i30 arrives in the UK on March 12th.
