Nissan is starting the 2012 Rogue crossover at $22,340 (including destination) for the base front-wheel-drive S model.
An all-wheel-drive configuration brings that cost to $23,590.
The 2012 Rogue is available in two trim levels--S and SV--and with Special Edition, Premium and SL option packages.
The front-wheel-drive Rogue SV will go for $24,780 to start, or $28,680 when adding the SL package. Equipped with all-wheel drive, the SV costs $26,030 as is, or $29,930 with the SL Package.
Changes for the new model year include a new Special Edition package available for $1,200. The package adds technology and convenience features such as steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, a rearview monitor, 4.3-inch audio-system display, USB connectivity, satellite radio, fog lights and privacy glass.
Other enhancements for 2012 include the addition of the Around View Monitor to the SL package. The monitor uses four cameras to create a 360-degree overhead view of the car and its surroundings when parking.
A sport-mode switch on all models is also new for the 2012 model year, as are 17-inch and 16-inch (Special Edition) aluminum-alloy wheels, and a new blue exterior color option. Available technology includes Nissan Intelligent Key, hands-free Bluetooth, XM satellite radio, Nissan Navigation System, a rearview monitor, xenon headlights and a Bose-developed audio system.
Both the S and SV Rogue models come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission.
