2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 roadster to be auctioned at Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance
Tue, 19 Feb 2013
The just-released 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 roadster hasn't been on the market for long, but there's already a 15-month wait for the drop-top supercar.
Fortunately, if you've got more cash than patience, there's a way to jump ahead in line: An Aventador Roadster will be auctioned during the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance gala dinner on Feb. 23.
Lamborghini Palm Beach will supply the vehicle, and its parent company, Warren Henry Auto Group, has stated that all proceeds above the car's suggested retail price will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.
Assuming the auction-bound Aventador isn't loaded down with options, bidding will have to top $441,600 to generate any cash for donations. If any prospective buyers read Mark Vaughn's enthusiastic review of the roadster, however, we suspect that the goal will be set -- and exceeded -- without much trouble.
