2013 Nissan Sentra gets $16,770 base price

Nissan has released sticker prices for the redesigned 2013 Sentra sedan. The base S with a six-speed manual transmission carries a bottom line of $16,770 including the $780 destination fee.

Base prices top out at $20,540 for the SL model with a continuously variable transmission.

All 2013 Sentras have a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 130 hp. The six-speed manual is available only on the base S model. All other Sentras are equipped with the CVT.

The base prices for the 2013 Sentras, including shipping, are:

-- Sentra S six-speed manual, $16,770

-- Sentra S CVT, $18,040

-- Sentra FE+ S CVT, $18,440

-- Sentra SV CVT, $18,750

-- Sentra FE+ SV CVT, $19,150

-- Sentra SR CVT, $19,650

-- Sentra SL CVT, $20,540

The 2013 Nissan Sentra arrives at dealerships later this month.
