2013 Range Rover lands in the Middle East
Sat, 20 Oct 2012The new Range Rover – fresh from its world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show – has now arrived in one of its key markets – the Middle East.
There’s no doubt that the UK will be a big market for the new Range Rover, and the US will become even more so if Land Rover can demonstrate the new Range Rover is not just the best luxury SUV there is, but that it’s properly bolted together too.
But beyond Land Rover’s home market and the US, it’s the Middle East that beckons as a mainstay of Range Rover sales, so an early presentation to the wealthy clients of Range Rover dealer Al Tayer Motors – the award-winning Land Rover dealers in the UAE – was a must.
So Land Rover made sure that Al Tayer got an early bite at the 2013 Range Rover cherry with a glitzy presentation at Meydan Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai this week. And it all went swimmingly.
Guests were treated to a hand-crafted leather display area with a digital interactive panel chronicling the Range Rover’s 40 year story, and a high-impact aluminium wall was used to highlight all the luxury and capabilities the new Range Rover offer.
Ashok Khanna, Al Tayer Motors CEO, said:
Our Land Rover showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is certified as the world’s highest selling Range Rover facility – a distinction achieved five times since 2006. Being one of the best-loved vehicles in the UAE, we are confident that the all-new Range Rover, which is unrivalled in its on-road presence, performance and capability, will further enhance this success.
Which explains why Land Rover – which will be offering their Middle East customers the new Range Rover in HSE, Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography trims – was keen to get the new Range Rover front and centre in the Middle East as soon as possible.
Orders for the 2013 Range Rover are no doubt now flooding in to Land Rover from Dubai.
