2013 VW Beetle R-Line Package

Volkswagen has revealed two R-Line Packs for the new Beetle – one for the interior, one for the exterior – to spice up the Beetle.

The VW Beetle we’re really looking forward to that has an ‘R’ on its boot is the Beetle R, but it looks like we’ll have to make do with an ‘R’ cosmetic makeover for now in the guise of the VW Beetle R-Line.

Volkswagen has revealed a pair of R-Line packs for the new Beetle that add a bit more purpose to the Beetle pastiche – one for the exterior and one for the interior.

The exterior R-Line pack offers some nice 18″ alloys (19″ are an option), black air inlets, chrome surrounds for the indicators at the front, a diffuser at the back, rear spoiler, new butch side panels, body-colored door mirrors and ‘R’ logos.

If you stump up for the R-Line exterior package you can then add in the R-Line interior package consisting of sports seats and embossed ‘R’ ,logo, leather for the sports steering wheel, gear lever boot and handbrake with decorated grey seams and dark inlays for the trim.

VW UK hasn’t given us prices for the UK yet, but the R-Line Exterior Pack for the VW Beetle costs €1290 and if you want the interior pack too it’s €1675 in Germany.
