2014 Jeep Liberty prototype caught in spy photos

The vehicle in these photos might resemble an Alfa Romeo Giulietta from some angles, but the raised ride height, chunky all-terrain tires and slotted grille hiding behind the camouflage suggest a prototype of the 2014 Jeep Liberty.
Code-named UJ, the new Jeep Liberty will be built at Chrysler's Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant.
A new 3.2-liter V6 will power the Liberty, which will come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The most notable change for 2014 will be a front-wheel-drive setup instead of the Liberty's current rear-wheel-drive format. All-wheel drive will also be an option.
The 2014 Jeep Liberty is expected to debut at the North American International Auto Show in January in Detroit. Alfa Romeo and Lancia versions are also anticipated for markets outside of the United States.
