2014 Mazda 3 hatchback photo leaks in report

The 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback was caught with no camouflage on the Bank of America Merrill Lynch's annual "Car Wars" study.

As we suspected, it sports the Kodo front end we've seen on the Mazda 6. Otherwise, it looks pretty similar, besides a few character-line changes. Back in October of last year, we saw another sneak peek, and this matches up to that perfectly.

Motor Trend spotted the leak, and also found a few other tidbits of info regarding the next few model years.

Lincoln will grow in 2017. The Aviator name will come back as a port of the Ford Explorer, a new Navigator will arrive, as will two cars called MKM and MKA. Cadillac will reveal the XTX crossover and Chrysler will revive the Pacifica name.

A Lexus IS coupe is on the way for 2014 and a convertible is possible, but not promised. The next Rogue SUV is in the pipes, as are a new GT-R and Z sports car for 2017.

Elsewhere in the study, Jag is introducing a BMW 3-series fighter called the XS, and a crossover called XQ. A new Tiguan will come in 2016, possibly with a diesel.
