2014 Mazda 6 sedan teased before Paris debut

Mazda began releasing teaser videos of the 2014 Mazda 6 sedan this week. So far we've seen three shrouded angles of the new car. In Paris, we expect to see the whole thing.

Mazda is quick to point out that this is not the Takeri concept, though it shares the same design language. Like the new Ford Fusion, this will be a wholesale change.

The new Mazda 6 is the second car in the company's stable to use Skyactiv technology. It will use both the Skyactiv 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a choice of fuel-efficient Skyactiv transmissions. The car is expected to go on sale in early 2013.

The Mazda 6 sedan is the company's second-best seller, after the small Mazda 3 but far ahead of the MX-5 Miata.
