Nissan announced prices for its 2014 Juke and Juke Nismo vehicles, which are on sale now in U.S. dealerships. Buyers will be able to get into the little Juke starting at $19,800 including destination. The 2014 Juke will be offered in four different trim levels, in addition to the three special packages, presenting buyers with a wide range of choices.
The Juke Nismo was first offered in mid-2013 and is a part of Nissan's growing sporty lineup. The Nismo Juke comes in a choice of front-wheel drive with six-speed manual or all-wheel drive with Nismo-tuned CVT transmission.
All Juke models are built on Nissan's global B-platform with a 1.6-liter direct injection turbo 16-valve aluminum-alloy inline four-cylinder engine. The engine is rated at 188-hp and 197-hp for non-Nismo and Nismo models respectively.
Juke AWD models come equipped with an advanced torque vectoring system, evenly distributing torque 50:50 between the front and rear axle. By doing this, it reduces understeer and enhances the vehicle's cornering feel.
Buyers can customize the interior of their Juke with features like leather-appointed seats, push-button ignition, rearview monitor, Rockford Fosgate ecoPunch audio system and Nissan navigation system with NavTraffic real-time traffic information.
Exterior options include two custom equipment packages: The Midnight Edition, and the Sport package. The Midnight Edition features 17-inch black wheels, sapphire black rear roof spoiler, sapphire black mirror caps and privacy glass. The Sport package features a body-color rear spoiler, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and stainless steel exhaust finisher. Nissan will also add two new exterior colors to the Juke fleet: Red Alert and Bordeaux Black.
Nissan's 2014 Juke S CVT model starts out at $19,800 while the top-of-the-line Juke SL CVT is priced at $26,800.
