2015 Ford Mustang front end spy shots
Mon, 07 Oct 2013
The 2015, or 2014.5 depending on who you ask, Ford Mustang will go on sale next April, on the car's 50th anniversary. It will most likely arrive with four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines and for the first time an independent rear suspension. We've already seen a few spy shots of the next Mustang testing, but these pictures supplied by someone on the inside give us our first good look at the front end.

The 2015 Ford Mustang is instantly recognizable, but bears hallmarks of the Evos concept car.
We expect the car will look similar to the Evos concept we saw at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, and according to MustangsDaily.com, the platform will be called the S550. The front end should be a bit more rounded while sequential taillights will probably continue duty in back.
The four- and six-cylinder motors will most likely be of the turbocharged Ecoboost variety, and will probably be the only engines for the European version of the 'Stang. Automotive News is predicting upwards of 300 hp from the four banger. Back here in the ole' U.S. of A, we'll surely get the rock solid 5.0-liter V8.
Check out the new pics, and tell us what you'd like to see in the sixth-generation ponycar.
