2015 Kia Sorento revealed ahead of Paris Motor Show debut

Kia has released pictures of its third-generation Sorento SUV ahead of its European unveiling at the Paris Motor Show 2014.
The 2015 Kia Sorento is a seven-seat bigger brother to the Sportage, which itself received a mid-life update earlier this year.
In typical Kia fashion, the front of the 2015 Sorento is dominated by its “tiger nose” grille, as well as long swept-back headlights – similar to those on the Cee'd hatchback.

The wheelbase has been extended by 80mm to provide more interior space for the three rows of passengers. We predict the new Sorento will be more premium inside than the outgoing model – but this will be in relative terms, rather than as a competitor for the Land Rover Discovery.
Soon-Nam Lee, Kia vice president of overseas marketing, said: “While we have retained the name based on the tremendous success of the current model, the all-new Sorento has been completely redesigned and re-engineered, and promises to surprise customers with its thoroughly updated styling, a host of new convenience and safety technologies, as well as enhanced space, driving comfort and handling response.”

Kia is keeping quiet on further details on its new Sorento for now – but expect it to be powered by a new range of more efficient engines, and to come with the usual seven-year warranty.
The Kia Sorento will be the star of Kia's stand at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. Deliveries will start in the UK in spring 2015.
