Acura releases specs, photos of the ZDX
Mon, 20 Jul 2009Acura confirmed specs and released more photos Monday of the new ZDX, which is scheduled to arrive this winter as a 2010 model.
The ZDX is the vehicle being pitched as a “four-door sports coupe” and, as expected, will come with a 3.7-liter V6 engine making 300 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. That's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The five-passenger vehicle has been captured in multiple spy shots, and features such as the panoramic roof, flared fenders and hidden rear door handles will show up on the production version. It looks similar to the prototype seen at the New York auto show in April.
The ZDX will come in three trim levels: a base version, one fitted with a technology package and a premium package.
Standard are 19-inch, seven-spoke alloy wheels, which are the largest standard wheels in the Acura lineup.
Hand-stitched leather highlights the interior. Pricing will be announced later, but Acura says the ZDX will be slotted between the MDX and the RL.
