Alfa MiTo Sportiva & Giulietta Sportiva added to range

Alfa Romeo has added a new trim level in the UK – Sportiva – for both the Alfa MiTo and the Alfa Giulietta.

Two cars we like very much – depending on trim and engine – are the Alfa Romeo MiTo and Giulietta. Both offer style and fun at decent prices and make a nice change from Teutonic sameness.

And now you can order up your MiTo or Giulietta with a new sporty trim level – Sportiva.

The Alfa MiTo Sportiva is based on the Distinctive trim option and throws in 18″ Quadrifoglio Verde alloys, dark headlining, matt black Alcantara with green stitching, dark headlining and a black leather steering wheel and handbrake.

Engine choices for the MiTo Sportiva will be the 85bhp TwinAir at £16,100, the 135bhp 1.4 TB MultiAir at £17,000 and the 120bhp 1.6 JTDM-2 at £17,750. Alfa say the MiTo Sportiva gets £1500 of extras for just a £750 premium.

The Alfa Giulietta Sportiva, based on the Veloce trim, gets a similar makeover to the MiTo Sportiva with sports leather upholstery, bigger Brembos with red callipers, 18″ dark titanium finish alloys, rear armrest with storage and sports kickplates.

The Giulietta Sportiva gets a wider choice of six engines, starting with the 1.6 JTDM-2 105bhp at £23,110. Alfa say the Giulietta gets a total of £3000 of upgrades for a premium of £1860.

Both the Alfa MiTo Sportiva and Giulietta Sportiva are now on sale.
