Alfa Romeo 4C stalks Spanish streets - video

Alfa Romeo is doing a little public relations work on YouTube today. The Italian brand is hyping the new 4C sports car that is scheduled to hit American shores later this year.

The two-seater will run a 1.8-liter, direct-injected four-cylinder engine making 240 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Top speed is estimated higher than 155 mph while the sprint to 62 mph (100 kph) takes 4.5 seconds.

The Alfa 4C will have an annual production of 3,500 globally, CEO Harald Wester said. Of that, 1,200 will come to North America, 1,500 to Europe and 800 then distributed throughout the rest of the world.
