Aston Martin One-77 now officially sold out
Thu, 26 Apr 2012Aston Martin One-77 - Sold out
The Aston Martin One-77 – Aston Martin’s £1 million hypercar – has finally sold out with the last One-77 reaching its owner.
From its arrival at Villa D’Este in 2009 through news that one buyer had grabbed 10 cars for his family by way of endless other stories, the Aston Martin One-77 has kept us busy for three years. But now its all done and dusted.
The most expensive car Aston Martin has ever made – and the last car built by CPP for Aston Martin before it went bust – the One-77 has, finally, been a proper success story for the small car maker from Gaydon.
To sell 77 £1 million plus cars is no mean feat, and it’s been done in a time frame – three years – which we doubt any other car maker has managed to match. Even Bugatti, with the might of VW behind it, probably hasn’t sold that many in the last three years. Well, maybe, but only just.
But now the One-77 joins other classic Aston Martins – like the Aston Martin DB4 Zagato – as a stunning creation from Aston Martin’s history book, and it’s back to endless variation on a theme that is Aston Martin’s current range. Apart from the one car that takes the place at the top of the Aston Martin tree.
The Aston Martin V12 Zagato.
