Aston Martin takes Vantage V8 N420 out on the 'Ring

WITH VIDEO -- Aston Martin, which has made a habit of running cars at the Nurburging 24-hour race for the past five years, has taken a special-edition Vantage V8 back to the track.

The V8 Vantage N420 will make its U.S. debut in August at the Pebble Beach concours. The car's 4.7-liter V8 cranks out 420 hp and it has a top speed of 180 mph. The N420 goes on sale late this year as a coupe or roaster.

Aston Martin is promoting the N420 with a new video that shows some of the car's finer points, as well as some track time at the Nurburging. Take a look:
