Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg will be honored at the sixth-annual Dayton Concours d'Elegance at Carillon Park on Sept. 16. The show, put on by AAA Miami Valley, will also have special classes for Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Micro Cars and Race Cars of Miami Valley.

More than 200 antiques and classics will be shown at the Ohio concours, along with some historic motorcycles. The vehicles will be separated into 28 classes. A few special awards will be given, including the R.H. Grant Best of Show, the Col. Edward Deeds Judge's Choice, the Charles F. Kettering People's Choice and the Kid's Choice award. The event also includes a nonjudged class for future classics.

Last year's winners included the Best of Show 1930 Vauxhall Hurlingham Boattail Speedster, the People's Choice, a 1932 Ford Victory Junction Roadster, and the Judge's Choice, a 1972 All-America Eagle Offy.

The weekend will start on Sept. 15 with a preview party open to the public. The preview will feature automotive art, music, a silent auction, food, beverages and some of the classic autos from the concours. It takes place at the Carillon Historical Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person, and reservations are required. All proceeds from the events go to Dayton History, Montgomery County's official historical organization.

Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. on Sept. 16, preceding a winner's parade. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages three to 17. Kids younger than three get in free.
