Project Kahn reveals the Audi A5 Sport Coupe

Project Kahn take stylish and appealing cars and add some glitz. Not always to our taste, we must confess, but not usually a glitterball explosion in a branch of Halfords either.

And it could be argued that some cars could do with a bit of extra visual oomph. Cars like the Audi range which, even in extreme RS guise, tend to be subtle and understated.

And not everyone wants subtle and understated, even if they enjoy what Audi offers. So Kahn has decided to add some extra dynamism to the Audi A5 Coupe to create the Audi A5 Coupe Sport by Project Kahn.

Kahn has taken a perfectly normal Audi A5 Coupe and chucked new front and rear bumpers, a rear boot spoiler and stainless steel sports quad exhaust at it. There’s also a pearl silver finish for the door mirrors and rear diffuser and a set of 21-inch RSL lightweight wheels with black and red stripes.

Inside you get treated to quilted, Nappa leather, red dials with a matt finish, stainless steel kick plates and billet aluminum pedals.

All of which does add up to a more aggressive A5 and one that doesn’t look bad at all. It’s a bit of a shame that the go-quicker looks aren’t accompanied by some real go-faster (the oily bits remain unchanged) but in an eco-obsessed world that’s probably what buyers want.

And, surprisingly, the 3.0 Audi A5 Coupe Sport from Kahn is a not unreasonable £31,875.
