Audi Sketches Out Plans For Its New Tt
Fri, 21 Feb 2014WITH the launch of its new model just around the corner, Audi has released design sketches as a teaser for its forthcoming third generation TT.
The sports coupe has proven to be a popular model for the German firm, and next month will see the unveiling of the latest version at the influential Geneva Motor Show.
Although technical details are currently scarce, it’s clear to see that the car’s design is more of an evolutionary step from the current model.
Audi is hoping the car’s overall look will align it more closely with the pioneering fist generation TT, while there’s the promise of an increased use of LED technology for the car’s lights.
More radical changes have been made in the cabin, with a recent preview of the car’s interior at a technology show revealing an all-new instrument display incorporating conventional dials alongside a customizable multimedia and navigation display.
Buyers can expect to see the car in showrooms later this year, with the convertible variant following later. For now, all eyes will be on Geneva in March for more details on Audi’s revamped compact coupe.
