BMW 1 Series M Performance Parts teased in a blur

BMW are teasing a range of M Performance Parts for the new 1 Series with a blurry video. Expected to launch at Geneva.
It looks like BMW’s video bods have got the hang of their new selective blur filter for their promo videos. We saw the money shots blurred out in the video tease we had for the new BMW X6 M50d at the end of last year (which teased the reveal of the M550d, X5 M50d and X6 M50d) and now BMW has employed the same technique on a teaser video for M Performance Parts for the new 1-Series.
The stuff that will be on offer for the 1 Series have had the blur filter applied, so there are nice blurry bits on the bumpers – front and back – mirrors and the sills. So we think you can guess which body mods BMW will be offering from its store of M Performance Parts.
We’re expecting BMW to uncover the blurry bits at Geneva, and the rest of the options for the M Performance add-ons. That should mean – as well as the body kit stuff – that we will see suspension mods on offer and maybe even a power boost option, as BMW are promising the M Performance parts offer ‘Superior performance and maximum sportiness’ and they aimed at creating an ‘Individual racing car character’.
And if you want a peek at what is likely to be on offer, you could take a look at the BMW 1-Series Performance Accessories Concept we saw at Frankfurt last year.
