BMW 1-Series Performance Accessories Concept at Frankfurt 2011

It’s only been a few months since BMW revealed the 2012 1-Series and already they’re working on adding a sensible dose of ‘M’ goodness to the new compact, with the BMW 1-Series Performance Accessories Concept heading to Frankfurt to show off their efforts.

The concept gets a set of chunky 19″ alloys, uprated suspension and brakes, an integrated rear diffuser and titivated exhaust tips.. There’s also an extensive body kit, carbon fibre door mirrors and a thumping great stripe right up the middle.

Inside, the 1-Series Performance Concept gets some sport tweaks including some carbon fibre bits, yellow highlights, leather trim and custom floor mats. In fact all you need to convince the world your 116d is the dog’s danglers.

Also on show at Frankfurt will be the new range of performance accessories for the BMW X5M and X6M. These include 21″ double-spoke alloys, a carbon fibre front splitter and black front grill and Performance side skirts. You can also have – if you really must – a set of BMW M Performance side stripes in oh-so-subtle BMW ‘M’ tri-colours.
