BMW Z4 Pure Fusion headed to Detroit auto show
Mon, 16 Dec 2013
BMW will be debuting a special edition of the 2014 BMW Z4 at the upcoming Detroit auto show, but today we're getting a sneak peek. The BMW Z4 Pure Fusion Design will essentially be an interior options package that will feature napa leather trim along with specially designed sport seats in ivory white, with contrasting brown stitching. The lower portion of the dashboard will also feature ivory white leather, as will the arm rests, door panels, and passenger pull handles. The top of the dashboard, the window sills, and the instrument cluster top will offer black leather contrasted with brown lapfolded seams.
The dash will also feature a horizontal trim line made of saddle brown napa leather with bright contrast stitching, while the trim on the center console itself will be topped with a Fineline wood panel. The tweaks to the interior are rounded out by black napa leather on the sun visors. By far the most noticeable part of the Pure Fusion Design package will be the exclusive sparklingbBrown metallic paint finish, a color BMW hasn't used before, though a number of other exterior color options will also be available.

The cabin receives a fresh choice of colors and materials with this special edition.
The Pure Fusion Design package can be combined with the M Sport package, and that means that Z4 buyers can also opt for one of two 18-inch and 19-inch wheel choices, an M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, and Adaptive M Suspension which lowers the car by 0.4 inches and electronically adjusts the dampers, offering a number of firmness settings.
Pricing for this edition of the Z4 hasn't been announced yet, but expect to get a closer look at the Pure Fusion edition when it premieres at the Detroit auto show early next month.
