BYD F3 Surui

The BYD F3 Surui replaces the outgoing F3 sedan, one of the most popular cars in the Chinese market. Based on the Toyota Corolla platform, the wheelbase of the F3 Surui has increased from 2,600mm to 2,660mm.

While many Chinese manufacturers prefer employ well-known foreign design studios, such as Bertone and Giugiaro, BYD has eschewed that practice by relying on its own design team. Overall the F3 Surui appears more mature and harmonious than F3 with a large chrome-plated grille and horizontal headlamps that make the front face seem wider, while the diving feature lines on the car's side extend from the back to the front in an attempt to convey a sense of dynamism.

Inside the car there is a flowing instrument cluster panel, an integrated center stack and dual cockpit design, which seems to match the character of a sporty sedan. BYD hopes that the contrasting trim, combined with the light-colored leather seating and dual-grained surface on the instrument panel can convey a premium quality feel.
