Fri, 20 Dec 2013
Ford will auction off its first retail 2015 Mustang GT at the Barrett Jackson event on Jan. 18 to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF is the country's leading organization funding Type 1 diabetes research.
“We're thrilled to be able to take advantage of Mustang's popularity to help achieve the dream of ending juvenile diabetes,” said Ford North America car marketing manager Steve Ling.
The winning bidder will be able to choose from either an automatic or manual transmission, as well as any interior styling and color offered on the GT. The 2015 Mustang will then be signed, sealed and delivered by the design and development team in appreciation of the donation to JDRF.
The auction will take place in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Saturday, Jan. 18 at lot no. 3010. For more information about the event, visit http://www.barrett-jackson.com/.
