A leaked price list for the Bentley Continental GT V8 and GTC V8 from Bentley in Berlin reveals prices for the new entry-level GT.

Earlier this month we got the reveal of the Bentley Continental GT V8 ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January. And now we get the first idea of pricing.

A leaked price list from Bentley in Berlin reveals that the Continental GT V8 will cost €161,840 for the GT and €178,024 for the GTC V8. Those prices (including German vat at 19 per cent) can’t be directly compared to the UK prices, where the current GT W12 costs £135,760 and the W12 GTC £149,350, making the GT V8 in Germany the roughly the same price as the GT W12 in the UK.

But the difference in price between the V8 and W12 versions of the GT and GTC probably gives us a better idea of where the UK prices are going to be. In Germany, the difference between the list price of the V8 and W12 GT will be €22k and between the W12 and V8 GTC €24k. That probably means the Continental GT V8 costing about £115k in the UK and the GTC V8 around £127k.

Option prices are the same on the V8 as the W12, but there will be a fewer choices when it comes to veneers. The W12 manages to offer a plethora of wood, carbon fibre and gloss veneers, but the V8 is coming with just one veneer finish – Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus.

We’ll probably get confirmation on UK prices for the the Continental GT V8 and Continental GTC V8 at Detroit in a week or two.
