Brilliance Zhonghua H530
Mon, 19 Mar 2012The Zhonghua H530 from Brilliance is a compact sedan based on the Huachen A platform, designed by the renowned Italian design house, Pininfarina.
The car features the family grille with its central bar and emphasized by the hood surface's feature lines and lower air intake treatment. Its lamps are pulled back into the fenders and feature high-set, horizonal indicators, visually widening the car. A pair of fog lamps are trimmed with chrome, aiming to enhance the percieved quality of the design detail. Despite its attractiveness in its own right there is a very strong BMW theme running throughout the car.
Its cabin is split visually into two zones by the strong feature lines that emphasize the driver-orientated theme. The high-tech intrument cluster and sporty steering wheel, combined with the larger silver center stack and gearshift knob, reflect the company's interior design strategy, which is directed towards the younger generation of Chinese consumers.
The car stands at 1,475mm high, with an overall length of 4,708 and a width of 1,788mm. The wheelbase measures 2,700mm while the front and rear track measure at 15,45 and 1,514 respectively.
