Cadillac introduces ATS Crimson Sport Edition

The already sleek Cadillac ATS will get a limited-production Crimson Sport special edition this spring. The deep red exterior metallic paint is just one of the upgrades to the standard ATS.

Inside the Caddy, four unique interior options will be available: red with black accents, caramel with black accents, black on black and platinum with black accents. Comfort upgrades include a heated steering wheel and heated front seats; the steering wheel and shift lever feature microfiber suede like the CTS-V.

Navigation, sunroof, the Driver Assist Package and Advanced Security Package are all optional.

Adding to the sportier feel is a set of 18-inch silver-painted wheels and color-matched ground effects including a front splitter, rocker moldings and a rear diffuser.

In addition to the looks the upgraded ATS will receive heavy duty cooling capabilities including auxiliary engine oil cooling and high performance brake linings.

The Crimson Sport Edition is available with either the 272-hp, 2.0-liter turbo or the 321-hp, 3.6-liter -- with rear- or all-wheel drive.

The limited-edition ATS will be available in dealerships at the end of March. The MSRP for the 2.0-liter turbo Performance Collection ATS is $46,010, and the 3.6-liter Premium Collection ATS drops in at $51,010.
