Chevrolet Cobalt
Mon, 20 Jun 2011The Cobalt is yet another Chevrolet making its debut at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show.
Reviving the previously defunct name, the three-box Cobalt has been developed by GM's Technical Center in South America. Finished in a 'smoke beige' hue, the show car is said to be the result of research that showed cutomers' desire for more internal space paired with increased refinement and equipment.
The Cobalt features the typical Chevrolet DRG, with the large ‘bow-tie' grille and large headlamps. The interior features a double glass roof, interspersed with blue LEDs to help convey the feeling of space.
Created for the cost sensitive markets like South America, Africa and parts of Asia, the Cobalt "is an important car in our strategy to be a versatile manufacturer", said President of GM South America, Jaime Ardilla.
