Chrysler launches 'Born Makers' ad campaign

Chrysler is launching its ad campaign for the 2015 200 sedan on Saturday. The brand gave us a sneak peak of the new Ameri-centric commercial on Friday. The effort will include 30- and 60-second television spots and in-theater ads in addition to activity in print, digital and social media.
“Born Makers” ditches much of the Detroit imagery for the state of Michigan as a whole. Many of the shots come from the company's Sterling Heights Assembly Plant.
Chrysler's Olivier Francois, chief marketing officer, says, “It's not just dreaming big ideas but also having the ingenuity and commitment to make them happen. It's an homage to American innovation.”
The commercial is narrated by Kevin Yon, the voice-over actor used in the “Born of Fire” spot, and Detroit singer MoZella performing vocals over Bob Dylan's “Things Have Changed.”
The redesigned 200 made its debut at the Detroit auto show in January, sharing its platform with the Dodge Dart. Engines include a 184-hp 2.4-liter four or a 295-hp V6. It starts at $22,695 and is on sale now.
