Citroen C1 declared most reliable new car
Fri, 25 Jul 2014THE CITROEN C1 supermini was the most reliable new car of 2014, with an impressive reliability rating of 99.3% for the first three years, according to a Which? survey.
BMW and Toyota were the best manufacturers, while the Hyundai iX20 diesel was the least reliable car up to three years old, with a score of 75.2%.
These were the most reliable cars in each class, with scores:

:: Large cars: Skoda Octavia (2013-) 98.7%
:: Luxury cars: Mercedes-Benz E-class (2009-) 94.5%
:: Estate cars: BMW 3 Series Touring (2012-) 96.6%
:: MPVs: Toyota Verso (2009-) 98.5%
:: 4x4s/SUVs: Honda CR-V (petrol, 2012-) 98.5%
:: Sports cars: BMW 3 Series Coupe (2006-2013) 96.6%
Least reliable new cars in each class were:
:: Superminis: Volkswagen Polo (diesel, 2009-) 82.2%
:: Medium cars: BMW 1 Series hatchback (2004-2011) 79.0%
:: Large cars: Vauxhall Insignia (2008-) 86.2%
:: Luxury cars: Jaguar XF (2008-) 90.2%
:: Estate cars: Jaguar XF Sportbrake (2012-) 85.7%
:: MPVs: Hyundai iX20 (diesel, 2010-) 75.2%
:: 4x4s/SUVs: Vauxhall Antara (2007-) 75.8%
