Citroen C4 Aircross to debut at Geneva 2012
Tue, 28 Feb 2012The Citroen C4 Aircross debuts at Geneva 2012
Citroen will give their C4 Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show next week as well as new DS3, DS4 & DS5 models.
We got the reveal of the new Citroen C4 Aircross – Citroen’s version of the Peugeot 4008 and Mitsubishi ASX – back in September 2011, and now Citroen are giving the Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show ahead of a launch in Europe in the Autumn.
The decent-looking C4 Aircross makes a good fist of marking itself out as a Citroen, and seems to offer a credible option in the compact SUV stakes. It gets a flexible transmission with selectable 2WD and 4WD and manages to emit just 119g/km in 2WD HDi 115 guise – the best in the segment.
Despite a relatively compact exterior, the C4 Aircross manages to offer good cabin space and boot space and there’s decent equipment levels on offer, including SatNav, touchscreen, reversing camera, hands-free and a decent Rockford sound system (many of which are, however, options on most models).
Citroen are showing a special C4 Aircross at Geneva which features Vapor Grey frosted-texture paint, with roof bars, door mirrors and handles all in chrome and a set of Vapor Grey alloys.
Also on offer on the Citroen stand will be the complete DS range – including the new DS4 Racing – and a couple of limited edition DS cars, the DS4 and DS5 Paris Rendez-Vous with pearlescent paint, lost of chrome, 19″ alloys and a watchstrap leather interior with blue overstitching.
Other cars on offer include the new C1, DS3 Ultra Prestige, DS3 Racing S. Loeb (a 200 run DS3 Racing special) and the DS5 Hybrid4.
It’s going to be a busy Geneva 2012 for Citroen.
