The competition is a biennial event run by the designers of the ANFIA Coachbuilders Group, who have set out to help discover new talent in the field of car design. The target of the initiative is to find and select new talents from all over the world, capable of interpreting and fostering the tradition of Italian automotive design. The first edition of this initiative, held in 1998, was held within Italy, the second in 2000 was extended to all European countries, and the third in 2002 was opened to young people from all over the world.
As with past editions, a judging panel including some of the greatest names in Italian car design will have the task of selecting the best 20 designs from those submitted. The 2004 edition will take place at the headquarters of Camera di commercio, industria, artigianato e agricoltura in Turin, from 30th September to 10th October.
