Ferrari start to tease the new F620 GT

Ferrari is teasing the replacement for the 599 – probably the Ferrari F620 GT – with a video tease. Debuts 29th February.

We’ve known for a while that the replacement for the Ferrari 599 – which looks like it will be the Ferrari F620 or F620 GT – is on its way and due to have its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Now Ferrari has started to tease the F620 with the video tease below, and has revealed that it will unveil the new F620 on 20th February, ahead of its public debut in Switzerland.

Ferrari say the F620 is the most powerful Ferrari ever, and we expect Ferrari to deliver as much as 740bhp from the V12 sitting under its nose (a slighly lower-tuned version of the V12 due in the F70).

The new F620 will be an evolution of the 599, with the nose from the FF, lower and lighter than the 599 with ground-effect aerodynamics and seven-speed dual-clutch ‘box. It is also – apart rom the New F70 – likely to be the last V12 Ferrari, with Ferrari’s range-toppers in future using twin-turbo V8s.
